The Alliance Partnership
The Alliance is a collaboration of commissioners, providers and other system partners working together as an integrated system to transform the health and wellbeing of the population of north east Essex .
In order to achieve our goals, we need to do things differently and that includes a greater focus on prevention and reducing inequalities in our communities. By combining our various skills, perspectives and resources, we’re able to tackle some of the most pressing problems within our population.
Colchester Borough Council provides a wide range of services for more than 192.000 residents, a diverse and thriving business community and thousands of visitors each year to the borough’s historic and cultural attractions. As Britain’s first city, Colchester has a wide and unique heritage including Colchester Castle which was one of the first stone castles in the country, and largest Norman Keep in Europe.
“To inspire and enable local community action to improve quality of life”.
Community360 (C360) exists to assist members of the public, voluntary and community organisations by providing passionate, intelligent leadership in Colchester, Essex and beyond. We have a proven track record of establishing innovative ways of working to benefit public services.
East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for patients to and from hospital, treatment centres and other similar facilities.
NHS North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group is a government organisation. As an independent body, they receive a set budget from NHS England. They use this budget to plan and commission (buy) health services that meet the needs of Colchester and Tendring. Their performance is measured according to how successful they are at improving outcomes for patients.
Tendring District Council runs a range of services for the area’s more than 145,000 residents, our growing business community, and the millions of visitors who come to the Essex Sunshine Coast to enjoy our beaches and heritage sites – not to mention events such as the Clacton Airshow, Illuminate Festival and Corbeau Seats Rally.
Founded by our Chief Executive Dr Vivienne McVey in 2006, we work with health and care commissioners and communities to transform services with a focus on experience, efficiency and outcomes.
We’ve been partnering with the NHS since 2006, when we were known as Assura Medical. We provide services to around half a million people a year, working from 500 or so locations across England. We deliver and transform adult and children community health services, primary care services including urgent care, sexual health, dermatology and MSK services as well as adult social care and wellbeing services.
