Palliative care masterclasses are broken down into a 45-minute masterclass followed by a 45-minute case study discussion option, supported by the medical teams at both hospices. Delegates will have the choice to attend the masterclass or case study session or both.

ReSPECT

On the 1/3/23 the ReSPECT process replaced the Do Not Attempt CPR form across Suffolk and North East Essex.
The ReSPECT process offers a personalised emergency treatment plan and is suitable for people who live with chronic ill health at risk of deterioration in addition to those who are approaching the end of life.
Below are two video resources to help you understand and implement ReSPECT.
Firstly is a 20 minute webinar filmed by Dr Karen Chumbley which forms part of the training around the ReSPECT process.
Second, is a 12 minute film which explains the purpose of the ReSPECT form, how to fill it out, and the importance of having an advanced plan in place. In the film, Dr Lindsey Crockett visits three patients willing to start the ReSPECT process and talks them through it.
